Our content

Every calculator page on calculatormanager.com contains original material: the implementation, the explanation, the worked examples, the FAQ and the design. Formulas and published statistics are facts and are not claimed as ours; where a figure comes from a public authority, the page cites it. You may use the calculators and their results freely, including commercially, and you may link to any page. You may not republish the written explanations, examples, FAQs or code, in whole or in substantial part, without permission.

Reporting infringement of your work

If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to admin@calculatormanager.com with the subject line “Copyright notice”. For the notice to be valid it must include:

  1. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on calculatormanager.com of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

On receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the material identified and notify the party who provided it. Under section 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.

Counter-notice

If material you provided was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing: your name, address and telephone number; identification of the material and the URL where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice; and your physical or electronic signature. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed a court action.

Reporting a site that has copied us

If you find our explanations, examples or code republished elsewhere without permission, we would be grateful to hear about it: email admin@calculatormanager.com with a link to the offending page.

Repeat infringers

This site hosts no user-generated content: every calculator runs in the visitor's browser and nothing is uploaded. Infringing material, if any, is therefore removed at source. Should that ever change, contributors found to infringe repeatedly will have their access terminated.
